Ms. Leslie Martin
is a Philippine Corporate and Labor Lawyer who graduated from Ateneo de
Manila University (A.B. Interdisciplinary Studies, Major in English
Literature and Communication Arts) and Ateneo de Manila University
School of Law (Juris Doctor). She is a practicing corporate, litigation
and labor lawyer Makati, Philippines, with experience in civil, criminal
and labor cases. She was a former associate lawyer for Ocampo &
Manalo Law Firm in Makati where she handled corporate accounts for
various juridical entities such as realty companies, online gaming
companies, motor vehicle importers and distributors, and construction
companies. As a corporate and labor lawyer, she conducted contract
reviews and negotiations, contract drafting, and accomplished due
diligence reports and corporate housekeeping. She was prt of the legal
team that assisted in the transfer to a Philippine company of the
exclusive right to import and distribute BMW motor vehicles and parts.
Prior to practicing Philippine law, she was an associate lawyer for the Manila office of Mary Carmen Madrid-Crost Law Offices, a Chicago-based U.S. Immigration law firm, where she assisted clients in securing U.S. visas by preparing family and employment-based petitions, as well as applications for investors visa, intra-corporate transfer (L visa), and U.S. tourist visas (B1 and B2 visas). As a law student, Ms. Martin was an intern for the Regional Trial Court, Branch 137 of Makati City, under the Honorable Judge Santiago Ranada (currently a Court of Appeals Justice), where she drafted orders and decisions for the court.
Currently, Ms. Martin handles corporate accounts for Kittelson & Carpo Consulting in Makati, Manila, Eastwood, Ortigas and Fort Bonifacio, Philippines, where she assists clients with incorporation processing, government agencies registration and labor law compliance.
