Responsibilities:

• Participate in project implementation.

• Gathering and analyzing user requirements.

• Documentation of the functional requirements.

• Installation and configuration of base product.

• Systems development of agreed customization.

• Develop documentation such as design specification, technical specification, test scripts and user manuals.

• Conduct user training.

• Maintenance and support of installed systems.

• Long term on site development and user support where required.

Requirements:

• Higher Diploma / Degree in Computer Science or other related qualifications.

• Minimum 2-3 years in software development or project implementation.

• Strong design and programming knowledge using C, C++ in Unix or Linux environment or Base24.

• Advantageous to have the following programming knowledge on Java, Java Script, applications on TOMCAT, Websphere.

• Knowledge of RDBMS/SQL such as Oracle, Informix, DB2 or Sybase preferred.

• Knowledge of Win XP, Win 2000, MS Environment will be advantageous.

• Working experience in the banking/financial/payment industry, knowledge of ATM/POS switching and ISO8583 messaging standards will be advantageous.

• Experience on IST/Switch application will be advantageous.

• Experienced end-to-end system implementation, from user requirements gathering, system design, system testing, user training and product support, will be advantageous.

• Willing to travel overseas for project assignments.

• Good analytical and problem skills.

• Fast learner and self started in learning new skills.

• Customer-oriented with excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills.

• Must be able to work in a team.
