Obtaining proper Philippines employment permits and visas (9G) for you and your foreign employees is a must and should be done prior to commencing employment. K&C understands the needs of foreigners working in the Philippines and will handle documentation, registration and processing with Philippine Bureau of Immigration and Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) so you can avoid dealing with time consuming bureaucracy at government agencies.
K&C will perform the following:
Any foreign national wishing to work in the Philippines must obtain a work visa (9G). If the duration of the assignment is less than six months, a Special Work Permit application may be submitted to the authorities. If the assignment is for more than six months, the assignee may apply either in the Philippines or via a Philippines Consulate.
An application for a separate Philippines Alien Employment Permit (ACR) is required as an accompaniment to the principal work visa application. This is not a travel document. It is issued by the Philippines Department of Labor and Employment.
A Special Return Certificate may be required as an accompaniment to the employee and dependent's applications. It is mandatory requirement for travel outside of the Philippines.
A Philippines Alien Certificate of Registration (ACR I-Card biometrics registration) may be required as an accompaniment to the employee and dependent's applications. This is a mandatory requirement for travel outside of the Philippines.
Philippine labor law is constantly evolving and it is often difficult to keep track of the changes. K&C keeps itself constantly updated on the modifications in the law and jurisprudence and will draft employee contacts and manuals for your foreign and local employees. We can advise you on salary structures and suggest tax efficient compensation packages for your foreign employees as well.
